Katie grew up playing competitive sports in the beaches of Toronto, working hard to support and motivate her teammates to achieve their potential, both on and off the court. She brings the same leadership, support and positivity to physiotherapy and always seeks to help her patients achieve their goals. Katie saw her fair share of injuries, which introduced her to the world of rehabilitation quite early on. Katie credits her athletic leadership roles and early introduction to rehab for igniting her passion for physical therapy.
Katie completed her Kinesiology degree at Wilfrid Laurier University. During her time at Laurier, Katie volunteered as a student athletic trainer for the Varsity Swim team, helping to expand her knowledge of human kinetics and motor sequencing. Taking an interest in the physical health of the aging population, Katie then pursued a 2-year diploma in Gerontology at George Brown, while simultaneously working as a Physiotherapy Assistant and competing for the George Brown Varsity women’s volleyball team. Upon graduation from this program, Katie worked for 2 years as an activation therapist with the elderly population, spearheading the women’s strength training class. Katie felt as though she could create even more change by focusing her efforts on prevention, and healthy lifestyle promotion. To do this she took up another Physiotherapy Assistance job that helped to land her acceptance into Glasgow Caledonian University’s Physiotherapy Masters program.
During her time in Scotland, Katie had the opportunity to experience a plethora of different Physiotherapy disciplines including musculoskeletal, respiratory, surgical, pediatric neurorehabilitation and community and elderly rehab. It was Katie’s placement in women’s health that sparked a new passion for Pelvic Physiotherapy. Katie successfully completed her Physiotherapy Masters in Glasgow in March 2021 and went on to successfully pass her Canadian accreditation exam in November of the same year. Since then, Katie has been fully licensed as Registered Physiotherapist and eager to provide her patients with a high standard of care. To ensure this, Katie completed several Pelvic Health courses and is able help patients achieve optimal pelvic health.
Over her time in patient care, Katie has come to strongly believe in educating her patients to better understand their wellness journey, as patient involvement is the key to success. Katie strives to create a safe, inclusive and non-judgemental environment and is here to help patients of all ages to achieve their movement goals.
During her spare time, you can find Katie hiking with her husband and her dog, tossing a disc with her friends, picking up a game of volleyball and spending time with her family.

Yoga opened up a whole
new world for her, where she started learning about spirituality and Eastern healing traditions. Upon learning about Traditional Chinese Medicine, she quickly realized how much it resonated with her beliefs about the human body and its ability to heal itself under the right conditions. This, coupled with some transformational acupuncture treatments she received, inspired her to delve deeper into TCM, become an acupuncturist and help facilitate healing and
joy in her community. She especially loves treating psychoemotional issues and the many physical problems they cause, but is perfectly happy treating other issues such as digestion, gynecology, pain and everything in between.

Tom has dedicated most of his adult life to the study of pain rehabilitation and athletic performance. He has over 10 years of education in health sciences: Kinesiology at York University, Massage Therapy at Kikkawa College, 3 levels of Fascial Stretch Therapy, 12 classes with Z-Health Performance (applied neurology), Neurokinetic Therapy, multiple courses in Pilates, and a handful of other certifications.
Tom is an expert at releasing tension in the body, using a blend of advanced stretching techniques (FST) and traditional massage therapy (Swedish Massage, myofascial release, ischemic compression, join mobilization, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, hydrotherapy, etc.). He has the skills to work very deeply into tissues, while also being attentive to how each individual responds. Everyone’s nervous system reacts differently, and deep massage won’t always create better results. Tom knows how to listen to the body that he’s working with.
Tom’s own struggles with chronic pain led to him to relentlessly pursue education. He spends much of his free time studying manual therapy and applied neuroscience, learning about new ways to resolve pain issues when traditional methods have been unsuccessful. He has a unique skill-set as a Z-Health Performance coach, using targeted exercises to address under-performing areas of the brain and nervous system.

Jesse is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from ICT Kikkawa College and had the opportunity to study under very skilled professionals in the industry. He studied Swedish Massage with a heavy emphasis on fascial release techniques. Jesse has a passion for rehabilitative work. This ranges from helping clients regain mobility, as well as decreasing pain from chronic conditions. Through the combination of fascial techniques, Swedish massage, stretching and joint work, he hopes to help others reach their goals and gain relief.
Jesse began his journey into massage therapy by taking yoga classes for his own personal health and mobility concerns. While he still enjoys doing yoga, he instead found stretching much more effective. Stretching then segued into learning about muscles and fascia, which is the connective tissue that basically holds everything together. After gaining all the knowledge he could on his own, he decided to pursue his curiosities and enroll in massage school.
Jesse believes that education and learning is unending and will always continue seeking out more ways to better his understanding of his craft. While working part time towards his Bachelor’s of Science, he will continue indulging in courses such as Fascial Stretch Therapy, Thai Massage and be continuously upgrading his Myofascial approach to rehabilitation.
